Our company started its agricultural R&D activities in 2011 by establishing trials to measure the agricultural values of wheat lines obtained from abroad.
In 2012, the company launched a hybridization breeding program with a large parental population of bread and pasta wheat.
In the summer of 2013, the second product grain corn and soybean trials were established to measure agricultural values, and as of the fall period, red lentil and chickpea trials were established. Winter wheat trials and observation gardens were established during the same period to create new hybrid combinations.
In the spring of 2014, a parental population was established with cotton lines brought from abroad to develop new varieties and a hybridization program was launched in the summer period.
While these were continuing, in 2017, variety development studies were started for two-row and six-row forage barley, and besides, as a result of protocols with international research institutes and international variety development programs selection breeding activities were initiated on the advanced lines.
In 2018; Registration application was made for 1 bread wheat, 2 pasta wheat and 1 chickpea lines and production permits were obtained. The company has initiated R&D activities on forage crops.
In 2019, a breeding program was initiated for green lentils and soybeans, registration applications were made for 1 red lentil line and production permits were obtained. In the same year, mutation breeding program was initiated on wheat genotypes under laboratory conditions. Trials have been established at the Ukrainian R&D Station within the scope of the Lentil and Chickpea breeding program.
In the spring semester of 2020, first product grain corn trials were established, and in the summer period, various development trials were established for product grain corn and silage corn. In the same year, registration application was made for 2 bread wheat and 1 pasta wheat. In December, registration applications were made for 2 cotton lines and production permits were obtained.
In 2021, 1 bread wheat (Meya-3) and 2 pasta wheat (Meya-1 and Meya-2) lines completed the registration test processes were registered with high performances. Rapid breeding programs have been initiated in the laboratory environment with lentil and chickpea lines. Trials have been set up at the Russian R&D station for the sunflower breeding program.
The firm has planned registration applications for 2 Bread Wheat, 1 Pasta Wheat, 2 Barley, 2 Chickpeas, 2 Red Lentils, 1 Green Lentils, 2 Grain Corn and 2 Cotton lines in the period of 2022-2024.
